An octave bandwidth L-Band power amplifier module is now available. The 15 Watt amplifier module with an instantaneous
bandwidth of 1.0-2.0 GHz has a small signal gain of 12 dB.
This amplifier module can be operated either in class "A" as a linear amplifier, with an output power of 10 Watts, or in class "B" with a typical efficiency of 55% and 15 Watts output power.
Input and output VSWR is better than 1.45:1.
The drop-in module with removable SMA-F connectors can be hermetically sealed. Its size is 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 1/2", excluding connectors.
| Frequency Range | 1 - 2 GHz |
|---|---|
| Gain | 12 dB |
| Power Output Psat | 42 dBm |
| VSWR | 1.45:1 max |
| Dimensions | 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 1/2" |
| DC power | 10V/4A (Class "A" operation) |
The transmitter provides a frequency translation of an L-band input to a Ka-band output. It features high linearity, low phase noise performance and high linear power.
