ITS Electronics Inc. product service and support

ITS Electronics Inc. uses its manufacturing facilities and procedures for servicing and/or refurbishing products. We will use materials and parts of equal or greater quality to that of original equipment manufacture.

Servicing

All devices are tested following repair to ensure that the customer complaint has been addressed to the fullest extent possible.

Secondary failures or undisclosed complaints may not be evident at the time of service. Full factory overhaul is available at added cost, specific to module and age of product being serviced. Please ask our customer service representative for full details and a quotation.

ITS Electronics Inc. strives to achieve a 30 day turn around on all service work. In certain cases, products that are not currently in production may require ITS Electronics Inc. to acquire specialized modules or components from third party manufacturers. In these cases the turn around time may be longer.

All ITS Electronics Inc. service work carries a 30 day warranty. Status of service cases is available by contacting ITS Electronics Inc. (see below); please allow 48 hrs for a response.

Service Cases

Before initiating return procedures, determine that the Product is itself at fault and not peripherals attached to the unit. This may save shipping time and expense and may minimize equipment downtime.

 a) Products returned within the warranty period:

Return the Product along with a fully completed RMA Request Form.

Evaluation of a warranty return is free of charge, however if a unit is returned to ITS Electronics Inc. in which a fault is not evident, a No Fault Found (NFF) fee will apply. Currently this charge is US $1500, and is subject to change without notice.

Should a product covered be returned to ITS within the warranty period, show signs of customer misuse/abuse or being tampered with, the original manufactures warranty shall be considered null and void. The repair shall then be treated as an out of warranty repair, see below.

Products covered by the original manufacture warranty shall be returned to the Customer with return transportation paid by ITS.

b) Products returned beyond the warranty period.

Return the Product along with a fully completed RMA Request Form.

ITS will provide a quote for evaluation costs plus repair fees. ITS will require a PO for repair costs prior to initiating repair procedures.

In the event of secondary failures evident when initial problem has been resolved; ITS Electronics Inc. reserves the right to revise the repair quotation to reflect increased repair costs and therefore will require an update to the original repair PO to continue with the repair.

If the repair estimate is refused, an evaluation fee applies and ITS Electronics Inc. will require a revised PO prior to returning the unit to the customer. Currently this charge is US $1500, and is subject to change without notice. Depending on the nature and extent of the failure, the effort required to determine the root cause of the failure may deem the unit to be no longer operational. While all reasonable attempts will be made by ITS to return the unit to the customer in as delivered condition, ITS does not warrant this.

Products repaired out of warranty will be returned at the Customer’s expense.

Product Return Procedure

In order to return a unit directly to ITS Electronics Inc. for repair or service, you will need to acquire a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. ITS Electronics Inc. cannot accept any returned goods without an RMA number.

To obtain one you must first complete and submit an RMA Request Form available online or by contacting ITS Electronics Inc. (see below)

Any unit sent to ITS for service will be returned to originating address.
